Join the Edible Avalon Community Gardening team. Together with Avalon residents, we plant and maintain gardens that beautify our neighborhoods and supply nourishing food.
During the school year, provide one-on-one attention and help with homework to school age kids at our Carrot Way or Pauline Community Centers. In the summer, assist with various activities in our SPY Summer Program for Youth.
Does your employer have a dedicated annual service day? We welcome seasonal help, including grounds work and flower planting at our properties, and help with our tenant holiday gatherings.

Home for Good
Home for Good is Avalon’s annual harvest dinner that raises funds for our support services – essential supports that help our residents achieve stability and independence. This year’s October 6 event, presented by Zingerman’s, celebrated our 25th year of working to end homelessness. There are lots of ways to get involved in Home for Good.
